Horror obsession

My horror obsession started when I was around 5 and Alien was on the television. I watched it by myself as my parents thought I was too young for such things but I didn't. I gazed at the screen with saucer eyes as the alien bursted out from Kanes chest after that I was hooked.

Not long after that I remember watching An American Werewolf In London with such intensity as the werewolf ripped through Jack on the moors. That then became my favorite movie. I was obsessed with that werewolf it was so damn scary and real and different and it would haunt my dreams for many years to come. When I dreamt about that werewolf it seemed so overwhelmingly real that I began to believe in them.

A few years after watching An American Werewolf In London I remember watching Stephen King's Silver Bullet when it came out and that movie me scared me so bad that I would actually hear and see that werewolf coming after me. I remember looking out the window and seeing a shape that looked just like the werewolf. I would run to my parents door and beat on it waking them up as my night terrors felt increasingly real scaring me nearly to death.

However it was because of these night terrors that I was able to write my debut novella "Pavor Nocturnus" and An American Werewolf In London inspired me to write "The Legend Of The Yorkshire Werewolf" a six book series that I am working on now. So all the things that terrified me as a child inspired me to become the author that I am today.

I hope all of you enjoy my books as it is you that make it possible for my dreams/nightmares to live on and for that I am very thankful and eternally grateful. Thank you for reading and I hope that you have as much fun reading my novels as I did writing them, Enjoy!

This was longtime ago with my cousin it wasn't Halloween as everyday was like Halloween for me. I used to love creating my own fantasy/horror worlds when I was a kid and I still do.
